Taking on a new challenge - with World Jewish Relief
We all need to challenge ourselves - to make life interesting, to ensure we are continually improving and to see what we are truly capable of. This is probably why there has been such an explosion of mass-participation sporting events: triathlons, 10k runs, Tough Mudders and ParkRun.

But the big daddy of them all is the London Marathon. Year after year, thousands of people take on the huge physical and mental challenge of pushing themselves through 26.2 miles on the streets of Central London.
Many runners find motivation through the months of hard training and the race itself by dedicating their effort to many important causes. This year, FreeRange Fitness is proud to be partnering with World Jewish Relief to provide training support and advice to their team of London Marathon 2017 runners. We will be helping with training programmes, run-specific strength and conditioning, setting up a World Jewish Relief Running Club, and setting them some fun mini-challenges - such as who can burn off the most doughnuts (250 calories each!) over the holidays!
World Jewish Relief is the British Jewish community’s humanitarian agency. They combat poverty and bring hope around the world. For further information about how to get involved, or to take part in your own challenge, please visit www.worldjewishrelief.org or call 020 8736 1250 If you think you might have a marathon runner inside you just waiting to get out, then email us here at FreeRange Fitness or call on 07703 018 110. If you are already running 5-10k on a regular basis, you still have time to build up to the London Marathon and raise money for a good cause at the same time. Trust us - you will feel great afterwards!
